Do you have a question about Merry Go Round? Check out our frequently asked questions below. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please send us an email via our contact page

Do we have to pre book?   Pre-booking is recommended for weekends/half terms and the lunch time sessions as to avoid disappointment at the door if we are unable to let you in.  We operate limits on the number of people in the building to ensure a quality play experience.

Can we arrive at any time?   We operate pre-defined play sessions to allow us time to tidy up in between, ensuring that our facilities are clean and tidy. You may turn up at any time during a play session but you will be required to leave at the end of that session even if you have not been there for the full 2 Hours.

What age group is the centre aimed at?  Merry Go Round has designated areas for 0-12 months 1-5 years and 5-12 years. We ask that children are supervised and sent to the correct areas of play by parents. The older children may accompany younger siblings in the smaller areas but will be asked to move if busy or showing signs of misbehaviour.

What facilities do you offer for babies?  We provide high chairs and have baby change facilities onsite.

Do you serve food or are we able to bring in our own? We have a cafe onsite serving hot and cold food along with a selection of drinks as well as cakes and snacks.  The cafe is only open during the play sessions. Also, vending machines are available for crisps and chocolate and tins of drink. So no food and drink can be bought in!

Do you accept credit/debit cards?  We accept all major credit and debit cards. Also Apple pay

Can we bring in a pram/buggy? Yes. We do ask for you to tuck these as close as possible to your table or if very busy we ask to store them alongside the party tables (if not in use) and to remove your valuables.

Do you have wheelchair access? Yes we have a ramp into the building. We try and keep a cleared space from the main doors to the disabled toilet.

What is your cancellation policy?  Half term bookings 50% deposits are non-refundable. For party deposits, we have to have cancellations in writing (see our party page for more info).

Can Siblings attend parties?  If you are coming to a private style party yes they can, but you will need to pay for a play or meal deal. If attending a general-style party than we ask for the parents to book for the session (please book in advance) so that they can come along.
